The Albir team hope you are keeping safe well during these challenging times.

The Kaktus Albir Hotel has had to close until March 2021 but we are all hopeful the 2021 Albir Convention will be able to go ahead – well keep you informed!

Also, if you haven’t done so already, please do become a ‘Friend of the Convention’ by scrolling down to the form below and entering a few details (or go to the ‘Friends’ page) so we can email you updates as we continually add to the program.

This is when we AA’s who live or stay on the Costa Blanca offer to entertain our visiting AA friends and to show you some of the beautiful local attractions and sample some local food specialities on the way!

Costa Blanca

Welcome to the beautiful Costa Blanca!

There could hardly be a more attractive spot to have an AA Convention!  Based in the delightful small town of Albir in one of the most popular 4-star hotels on the Costa Blanca, the beach is just a few steps away from the hotel  and there are numerous high quality restaurants and cafes within yards.

While you are here we hope you take the time to visit some of the local attractions including the “Artist’s Paradise” town of Altea which is just a short bus or taxi ride away, and also a pleasant beachfront walk if you have a bit more time.

Benidorm is less than 5 miles away, and despite a reputation for a somewhat, ahem, lively clientele in its new town, Benidorm Old Town with its narrow streets and numerous tapas restaurants is well worth the experience..

Slightly further afield but not too far, Les Fonts de l’Algar and the unique Guadalest are popular destinations for anyone spending time in this stunningly beautiful part of Spain.
